Explore some of the eternal messages of the ancient Indian texts, their significance in their times and how the same messages continue to be applicable in todays modern life.
Providing context through some of the teachings of the Vedas, Upanishads and Purunas, most of our exploration will be on the main messages offered through the teachings imbedded in the Bhagavad Gita. We'll look at timeless guidelines around how to walk in this world with alignment- mentally, physically and in full, inspired self.
This six-week course is open to all with an interest in learning about yogic philosophy. The evenings run as other Living Yoga programs do with Jamine and Kat; some facilitated, interactive discussion, optional reflective work (homework) and of course, fun. The ancient teachings become accessible and relevant to now. All this happens in the cozy, informal space we've been calling the Makata Livingroom, near Carleton U. Interested? Come join us
Tuesday evenings, January 21- February 28, from 7pm-9pm
